Procore used Groundbreak 2026 to launch AI Go, a voice app for project questions, and a digital-twin beta with NVIDIA, while Mach9 and PataBid raised money for AI drafting and estimating. Local AI kept moving too: Recursive released Flint, a free coding model built to run on a laptop.

Free / DIY angle of the week

Recursive's Flint is the free, do-it-yourself pick of the week: Recursive publishes MLX weights for Apple Silicon and a GGUF build for NVIDIA hardware under Apache 2.0, so it runs offline on your own machine, and WIRED ran it on a 48GB Mac. It's a coding model, so use it to build small tools and scripts, such as a script that renames and files jobsite photos, not to write bids.
