> New (public release Oct 28, 2026): free, open-source Mac app from the makers of Draw Things that runs a private AI agent on your own machine. Python, Node.js and a shell are built in, it only works inside folders you share, it runs offline, and cloud models (ChatGPT, Claude, OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible API) are optional. Draw Things' own sizing guide lists models such as Qwen 3.8 27B (16 GB minimum) and DeepSeek 4 Flash (32 GB minimum); those are vendor figures, not our tests. Coverage so far is company pages only.
